Death

March 2006
We went to see "Auntie & Me" at MRT (the Merrimac Repertory Theatre) last evening.  The plot: a man goes to visit his dying aunt, ready and eager to get the whole thing over with, but she does not choose to oblige him.  Extraordinarily amusing with a great plot twist.  My favorite line: "I'd rather be an amaryllis".  In the context, I'd agree with the sentiment.

On the subject of death, I've long felt that when I die I want to be cremated. I never had much of a plan beyond that, but this play presents an attractive one: mix ashes with soil and use for planting. What a great idea!

As for music: Louis Armstrong singing "It's a Beautiful World." Yep, that's how I want to go.
